What if timesheet totals don't match hours?

Make sure your employees match the timesheet totals to the hours worked before the employee can submit their timesheet. Employees won't be able to click the Submit button until the their totals and hours match.

 

Before you get started

  • You'll need to purchase and install Connect Online.

  • You'll also need to update the user security settings in System Management to allow the employees to use Connect Online to clock in and clock out.

 

Validating timesheet totals and hours

1. Open Connect Timekeeping Organization Departments.

2. Use the Department field to enter the name of the department that you want to assign to an approval process.

3. Click to select the Timekeeping tab.

4. Click to select the checkbox titled Timesheet Totals Must Match Hours.  

5. Click Save (CTRL+S).

Employees can use the time clock in Connect Online to add a clock in or clock out time to their timesheet.
