How do I launch Requisition Inquiry?

Use Requisition Inquiry to view the following information:

  • Requisition detail and notes

  • Purchase orders related to the requisition

  • Vendors related to the requisition

  • Approval status and approval detail
     

 

 

Launching Requisition Inquiry from the Main Menu

1. Open Connect Accounts Payable.

2. Click Requisition Inquiry.


Launching Requisition Inquiry from Purchases and Requisitions

1. Open Connect Accounts Payable > Purchases and Requisitions.

2. Click the link titled Requisition  Inquiry.

Launching Requisition Inquiry while running another routine

When you're running another routine, you can use the Inquiry button on the toolbar to launch Requisition Inquiry.

Navigating Requisition Inquiry

Use this section to learn what you can do in Requisition Inquiry.

Requisition tab

A header displays at the top of the Requisition Inquiry. It shows an overview: requisition number, input date, department requesting the requisition, vendor filling the requisition, requisition total, and approval status if you're using approvals to approve requisitions.


Details tab

Use the Detail tab to view the requisition detail and approval status. The requisition detail shows you all of the items listed on the requisition and the approval status displays who is reviewing and approving the item.

To view an item's approval status in the approval process that is assigned to the item, click the Approval Status tab.

Additional Fields tab

Use the Additional Fields tab to add fields that you want to view but have not been included in Requisition Inquiry. You can change the field order and which fields are selected to display on this tab.


When you add fields to the Additional Fields tab, it looks like this. The Field column displays the field name. The Data column displays the value that is saved in the field on the requisition.

Attachments tab

View attachments that have been linked to the current requisition.

Notes tab

View saved notes on the current requisition. You can add a new note but you cannot edit or delete notes using Requisition Inquiry. To edit or delete notes, you'll need to use Modify Existing Requisitions.
