How do I delete an asset?
Deleting an asset record will remove all of the information about an asset from the Asset Management database. Once a record has been deleted, it cannot be undone. As a precaution, you may want to backup the Asset Management database before you delete any records.
Before you get started

Back up the database. (Send Databases)
If the asset is linked to transactions, it may be easier to retire the asset. See the help topic titled How do I retire assets?
Deleting an asset
1. Open Connect Asset Management > Assets > Modify Existing Assets.
2. Enter an asset number in the Lookup bar. Press Enter.
3. Click Delete (CTRL+D).
The asset is deleted.
