Use Assembly Models to set up and record the different assembly models that will be used in the Backflow Management application. Once the assembly model information is recorded in the database, it will be available to users to relate to an assembly. New assembly models may be created when installing an assembly at a location or editing an existing assembly.
Example: An assembly that is manufactured by Ace, model 184655, that is an assembly type for a Reduced Pressure Double Check Value, with a 1 inch water line size, and a horizontal orientation is an assembly model. If you have another assembly with the same information with the exception of a 2 inch instead of a 1 inch water line size, which means that you would need to set up a separate assembly model record.
