How do I print an install notice?

If the assembly activity is install, you have the option of printing an Install Notice when the install assembly is selected.

You would print an install notice when you need to notify a customer or property owner that a backflow prevention assembly must be installed or has recently been installed. Install notices help communicate compliance requirements, inspection expectations, testing deadlines, or follow-up actions related to the assembly. They are commonly used to support regulatory enforcement, document customer communication, and ensure proper backflow protection is in place.

Printing an install notice

1. Open Connect Backflow Management > Assemblies > Enter Assembly Activity.

2. Click Options (F12).

3. Use the Install Notice Report Definition to select the form layout to print when you install an assembly.

4. Click OK.

Connect saves the selected options. When you install an assembly and use the print option, Connect will use the selected form layout to print the install notice.
