If the test result is failed, do you want to print a failed test notice?
Set up the default setting to print a failed test notice or prompt the user to print a failed test notice when an assembly has a failed test result.
If an assembly failed the test, you would print a failed test notice to notify the customer or property owner that corrective action is required. The notice provides documentation of the failed test and typically instructs the customer to repair, replace, or retest the assembly within a required timeframe. Failed test notices help support regulatory compliance, track unresolved issues, and ensure unsafe backflow conditions are corrected promptly.
Changing the default setting to print a failed test notice
1. Open Connect Backflow Management > Assemblies > Enter Assembly Test Results.
2. Click Options (F12).
3. Set up the field titled Print Failed Test Notice.
