Protection Type Report

Use the Protection Type Report to provide a count of the different types of devices that are currently being used to prevent water from returning to the main line. The counts are provided by the customer type using the assembly's assigned protection type. 

There are two Caselle Master report definitions: 

  • Protection Type Report by Protection Type - Single Page [Caselle Master]. Use this report definition to print everything on one page. 

  • Protection Type Report by Protection Type - Multiple Pages [Caselle Master. Choose this report definition if you want to print each protection type on a separate page. 

 

Printing protection type report

1. Open Connect Backflow Management > Reports > Protection Type Report.

2. Select a report title.

  • Protection Type Report by Protection Type - Single Page [Caselle Master]. Use this report definition to print everything on one page. 

  • Protection Type Report by Protection Type - Multiple Pages [Caselle Master. Choose this report definition if you want to print each protection type on a separate page. 

 

3. Click Print (CTRL+P). 

 

 

Setting up the protection type report

You can set up these options on the Protection Type Report. 


Include active customers
Print protection types for active customers. An active customer is any customer who does not have a final bill date in the customer's record. 

Include inactive customers
Print protection types for inactive customers. An inactive customer is a customer who has a final bill date recorded in the customer's record. You can find the final bill date on the Customer tab > Customer 1 tab in Modify Existing Customers. 

Protection types
Shows a list of the protection types that have been assigned to an assembly. Select the checkbox next to a protection type to include it on the report. 

The protection type is a self-validating field so the Protection Types list in the report will include the protection types that have been added to the Protection Types menu in Setup New Assemblies or Modify Existing Assemblies.
