Your application requires preventive maintenance once a year to keep the reports and routines running smoothly. Fortunately, in Backflow Management maintenance simply means running the Delete History routine to remove unnecessary records from the database.
Perform this task once a year.
1. Back up the database. Since the Delete History routine will remove records from the database, it's always wise to back up the database before you continue.
2. Open Organization > Delete History. Set up the options to remove testing and notification activity that occurs prior to the specified dates for saving history. The default date calculates based on the number of months saved in the Organization table.
1. Back up the database. Like Delete History, the Delete Inactive Assemblies routine will remove records from the database.
2. Open Assemblies > Delete Inactive Assemblies. Set up the options to remove assemblies that are no longer in use.
