Assigning a property to a business links the business record to a physical location or address. This helps ensure that business tax information is associated with the correct property for reporting, billing, and account management purposes.
You might assign a property to a business to track where business activity occurs, support tax calculations and jurisdiction reporting, maintain accurate account records, or manage multiple business locations. This information can also help with audits, compliance reviews, and operational reporting.
