How do I enter a manual fee?

A manual fee is a fee that is added directly to an account by a user instead of being automatically generated by the system. Manual fees are typically used to apply special charges, corrections, penalties, or other account-specific amounts that are not part of standard automated processing.

Manual fees may be added for situations such as late charges, administrative costs, returned payments, or unique billing adjustments. These fees help ensure account balances accurately reflect all applicable charges within Business Tax Collection.

A manual fee is a fee that is created as a single, or one-off fee. Use Enter Manual Fees to record the fees.
