Error: Employee has unfinished termination tasks

Issue

The employee was terminated but there are termination tasks that have not been finished. 

 

Explanation

The Payroll application and the Human Resources application use the same payroll database to track employees and employee terminations. There may be a checklist in the Human Resources application with steps for terminating an employee. This error means there's a checklist for terminating employees in the Human Resources application and some of the steps still need to be finished. 

 

Solution

If your organization is using a checklist in the Human Resources application to terminate employees, check to see if all of the required steps have been completed. [More]

1. Open Connect Human Resources > Employees > Modify Existing Employees. 

2. Click to select the Termination tab > Task Lists tab.
