Error: Start and hire dates after pay period end date
Issue
The primary position has a start date or hire date after the pay period end date.
Explanation
This error occurs when
the employee has a start date or hire date after the pay period end date, or
the employee does not have current exceptions, or
there are exceptions for the pay period, but the option to create checks for the employee was declined.
Solution
To fix this error, check
if the check issue date is correct. (Calculate Payroll)
if the pay period end date is correct. (Calculate Payroll)
if the start date and hire date on the employee are correct. (Modify Existing Employees > Job tab) The start date and hire date should be before the pay period end date.
