Here's a general guide for submitting a test file to Empower. Reasons why it's important to submit a test file
Validate file format and structure. The test file is used to verify your export file meets their exact technical specs. If not, their system may reject the file.
Check for data accuracy. A test file allows Empower to validate contribution percentages and limits, confirm employment types, and ensure proper reporting of earnings, service time, and employee IDs.

The email alerts Jordan Mura the file is uploaded and ready for review.
9. You will receive an email from Jordan Mura to
confirm the test file was uploaded successfully, or
show the test file upload failed and share why it wasn't successful. You will need to fix the items listed and create a new export file, and then resubmit it.
