Payroll Register - Pay Code Summary

Reports

Review an employee's gross/expense, taxes, deductions, and net. Print a Payroll Register – Pay Code Summary to print the general employee information and four groups that list all of the pay codes for each employee for the selected pay period. The four groups are Gross/Expense, Taxes, Deductions, and Net/Info.

This report includes the following information:

  • General employee information

  • Employee hash and count

  • Summary of hours, units, and types

  • Summary of pay code totals

 

Printing a Payroll Register - Pay Code Summary

1. Open Connect Payroll > Reports > Payroll Register - Pay Code Summary.

2. Set up the report dates.

3. Set up the Include Employee Hash and Count checkbox.

Including the employee hash and count will sum the employee numbers and count the number of employees that print in the report. The employee hash and count are part of the sections area and will print at the end of the report.

4. Set up the selection criteria, report order, report sections, and columns. (Optional)

5. Click Print (CTRL+P).

The report prints.

Use the following report columns to set up the Selection Criteria and Columns.

[Report].Debit

[Report].Direct deposit

[Report].Pay code

[Report].Pay code title

[Report].GL activity number

[Report].GL activity title

[Report].Hours

[Report].Info amount

[Report].Info type

[Report].Net amount

[Report].Net type

[Report].Type

[Report].Units

 

Report sections

You can add detail to the report. The report will print the pay code summary and then it will append the detail.

You can choose to add the following detail:

  • Gross pay code detail

  • Expense pay code detail

  • Taxes pay code detail

  • Deductions pay code detail

  • Net pay code detail

  • Informational pay code detail

  • Fringe pay code detail

  • 1099 pay code detail

  • Transaction detail
