Master Job Actual Costs Report

A master job is another tool for dividing and grouping jobs based on their shared similarities. Use the Master Job Actual Costs Report to print a list of actual costs for open or closed master jobs.

A Master Job Actual Costs Report is a comprehensive report that displays the actual costs charged to multiple jobs or projects. The report typically summarizes expenses such as labor, materials, equipment, and other project costs across a range of jobs, departments, or job types. Do this...

1. Open Connect Project Accounting > Reports > Master Job Actual Costs Reports.

2. Select report title.

3. Fill in the report options.

4. Click Print (CTRL+P).

The report prints.

Closed master jobs

A closed master job is a master job is a master job where all of the related jobs have a status of closed – final.  

Do you want to include closed master jobs?

  • Yes, include closed master jobs. Click to select Closed Master Jobs.

  • No, exclude closed master jobs. Click to deselect Closed Master Jobs.

Open master jobs

An open master job is a master job that has at least one related job with a status of active or closed – preliminary.

Do you want to include open master jobs?

  • Yes, include open master jobs. Click to select Open Master Jobs.

  • No, exclude open master jobs. Click to deselect Open Master Jobs.
