How do I exclude exempt properties?
Set up the Personal Property Affidavit Report so a personal property affidavit form does not print for an owner who has a personal property that is exempt from personal property assessment. An owner is exempt from assessment with the option to send tax statements and valuation notices is not selected in the owner record.
Excluding exempt property from printing a personal property affidavit
1. Open Connect Property Tax Collection > Reports > Personal Property Affidavits.
2. Double-click the Column header in the Selection Criteria.
3. Add Owner.Exempt to the Selected Selection Criteria Fields list, and then click OK.
The Owner.Exempt column is added to the Selection Criteria.
When you print the personal property affidavits, the report will exclude owners with personal property that is exempt from assessment.
