Real Property Collections Report

A Real Property Collections report is designed to show collection-type transactions applied to the property by a taxing entity by payment date. The reason for the collections report is to see outstanding amounts.

Print a Real Property Collections Report to review and analyze property tax payments that have been collected during a specific period. The report provides a summary of collections by property, owner, tax year, taxing district, or other criteria, helping users verify payment activity, reconcile financial records, and monitor collection performance.

Examples:

  • Review total real property taxes collected during a month, quarter, or tax year.
  • Verify collection amounts before updating the General Ledger.
  • Reconcile tax collections with bank deposits and financial records.
  • Analyze collection trends and compare actual collections to projected revenues.
  • Monitor payments received by taxing district, property type, or collection period.
