Can I check if user rights are set up correctly?

Exit the Connect. Then, launch Connect and log in with the user's user ID. Test the user's rights by launching the applications and routines that have the user DOES NOT have permission to access.

 

Can the user access the applications, routines, and reports that the user has been given rights to access?

You are done.

 

Can the user access the applications, routines, and reports that the user has been denied access?

You need to modify the user rights in System Management > Security > Setup/Modify User Rights. Remove the checkbox to Explicitly Allow. Then, select the checkbox to Explicitly Deny.

 

What if the user cannot access the applications, routines, and reports that the user has been granted access?

You need to modify the user rights in System Management > Security > Setup/Modify User Rights. Select the checkbox to Explicitly Allow. Next, deselect the checkbox to Explicitly Deny.
