Remove a service from one or more customer accounts. Use Batch Add/Delete Services to remove a service from one or more customer accounts. The routine searches for customer accounts with a service that matches the selected rate and then deletes that service from the customer account.
Before proceeding, back up the current files. Always make a back up of the database BEFORE running routines that modify or delete transactions. See the help topic titled How do I back up the database?
1. Open Connect Utility Management > Customers > Batch Add/Delete Services.
2. Click to select Delete Service.
3. Select the Service.
This field displays the services that are set up in Utility Management. Click to select the service that you'd like to add to the customer.
4. Select the rate to delete from customer accounts.
When you select a service, the rates that have been created for the service will be displayed in the section titled Delete Services Tied to These Rates.
Select the rate or rates (press and hold CTRL to select another rate) to delete.
5. Select the rates to delete by selecting the customer number.
Use this option to select customers by entering the customer numbers that you'd like to modify.
In this example, the routine will delete the rate on the selected service from customer accounts: 214501, 110701, and 214901.

Yes, delete the service rate from a specific customer number. Double-click the Value field next to Customer.Customer number to enter the customer numbers.
No, use the properties I have selected to delete the service rate from customers. Do not change the Value field in the Selection Criteria.
6. Click GO (CTRL+G).
Caselle uses the properties that you have selected to remove the service rate from the selected customers. When the routine is finished, use Customer Inquiry or Modify Existing Customers to make sure the service has been removed from the correct customers.
