Convert a report definition from the 2022.08 release or earlier to use the new report base. There are new features and tools in the new report base to help you create and edit the report definition. After a report definition is converted, you can use the new report definition with the reports that use the new report base. The old report definitions will be available for a short time. You can use the old report definitions when you run the old version of the report, which you can find in the Old Reports menu.
Converting a report definition means you can use the report definitions that have been created and saved for your organization. Report definitions that have not been converted will have (old) attached to the report name. Example: [Report Name] (old)
You do not need to convert report definitions for Caselle Master report definitions. This feature is available in the 2022.11 release.
1. Open Connect System Management > System Tools > Convert Forms.
2. Use the Application box to select the application that uses the report definition.
Report definitions are created for a report and they are tied to the application. You'll need the name of the Connect application that is using the report definition.
3. In the Report Definitions section, select the checkbox next to the report definition that you want to convert.
4. Click GO (CTRL+G).
The report definition is converted. You will be able to select the new report definition from the list of report definitions. But you can only use an old report definition with an old report (Old Reports menu).
