Use this option to create a file that can be used to send transmittal information to a third party program. Several options are available so you can set up the export options to create a file that will be easy to import.

Do this...
1. Open a report and click the Print Settings tab.
2. Click to select the checkbox titled Export.

3. Click the Export tab.

4. Fill in the fields in the Export Options section.
5. Click Print (CTRL+P).
Connect saves the export file.
1. Click on the File Name field.

2. Enter the file name.
You do not need to include the drive letter and path. Example: Deposit_Register
The export file is saved in the CSLData directory.

Example: c:\ExportFiles\Deposit_Register
The export file is saved in the designated directory.
You can add a variable to the file name to insert the date, time, or count in the file name. Using the date, time, or count will ensure the file name is a unique file name and ensure the new export file does not accidentally replace an existing export file.

Type the character or symbol that will be used to separate field values. Example: quotation mark ("), comma (,), semicolon (;), or Tab. For more information, see the help topic titled What is a field delimiter?

Type the character or symbol that will be used to indicate the end of the field. Example: quotation mark ("), comma (,), semicolon (;), or Tab. For more information, see the help topic titled How do I mark the end of a field?
End of field
Type a unique character or symbol that is not used in the file to surround text fields. Example: quotation mark ("), comma (,), semicolon (;), or Tab. For more information, see the help topic titled What is a surround character?

Select the corresponding checkbox to include the selected option in the export file.
