How do I search a report preview?

You can search a report preview for a letter, word, or phrase. When you click Next, the search tool will find each instance of the search value in the report preview.

 

 

 

Searching for a value

1. Click Search.

 

 

The Search toolbar displays.

 

 

2. Click to select the field titled Search.

3. Enter the search value.

4. Click Next.

The search tool highlights the first instance of the search value in the report preview. Continue to click the Next button to view all of the instances of the search value.

 

Searching for a case-sensitive value

1. Click the Options button on the Search toolbar.

2. Click to select Case Sensitive.

 

 

The search tool will search for instances that match the uppercase and lowercase letters in the search value.

 

Searching for a whole word

1. Click the Options button on the Search toolbar.

2. Click to select Whole Words Only.

 

 

The search tool will search for instances that match the entire search value. Instances that match part but not all of the search value will not be included.

 

Closing the Search toolbar

When you're done searching the report preview, click the Close button at the end of the Search toolbar.
