How to schedule inspections in the portal?

Overview

You can schedule inspections directly in portal to plan, track, and manage upcoming inspections in one place.

 

 

Instructions

 

Step 1: Sign in to the portal

Sign in to the portal with your account credentials.

Make sure you have permission to schedule inspections. If you don’t see inspection options, your role may be limited.

 

Step 2: Open the Building Permit section

From the main menu, go to Buidling Permit.

 

 

Step 3: Click View (on the tile) to open a permit. 

This area shows existing permits and allows you to create new ones.

 

 

 

Step 4: Create a new inspection

Select Inspections. 

 

 

 

Select Request Appointment. 

 

 

 

Step 5: Schedule inspection

Then choose or enter:

  • The property, unit, or location
  • The inspection type
  • The assigned inspector (if applicable)

 

 

Select the inspection date and time.

  • Some inspections may offer predefined time windows
  • Availability depends on your community’s setup

Confirm the details before continuing.

 

Step 5: Review and schedule

Review the inspection details, then select Request to confirm.

 

 

Once scheduled:

  • The inspection appears in the inspection list
  • The inspection status will show as pending
  • Any applicable notifications are sent automatically

 

Managing scheduled inspections

From the Inspections section, you can:

  • View upcoming and past inspections
  • Edit or reschedule an inspection (if permitted)
  • Cancel an inspection when needed

Changes are saved immediately and reflected in the portal.

  • Inspection options vary by community configuration
  • Some inspections may require approval before they’re finalized
  • Scheduled inspections may sync with other systems
