Warning: Active PB journal required

When the routine calculates benefits, Connect will create the benefit transactions in the PB journal, also known as the payroll cost journal. If Connect can't find the PB journal, this warning will be displayed on the screen. 

Warning

To fix the error, open the Connect General Ledger application and then use Journal Inquiry to look up the PB journal. You should check if

  • the journal code and title to make sure everything is spelled correctly, and 

  • the Activate Journal checkbox is checked. 

 

The Calculate Benefit Amounts view can't run without an active PB journal. You may need to contact the general ledger clerk for assistance.
