Warning: Cannot Connect to Domain

Issue

When I log in, there's an error message that says that Connect cannot connect to the active directory. What does this mean?

Explanation

Connect is looking for the Active Directory and it can't find it. Connect uses the Active Directory to synchronize Connect users with their Windows username and password. You will need the Active Directory if your organization security settings are set up to use your Windows credentials to log in to Connect.  

 

Solution

Try these troubleshooting steps. 

  • If you use Connect in a network environment, check to see if you're connected to the network where the active directory is located. If you're using a VPN, you may need to log in. [More]
