Warning: Invalid GL account
Issue: A warning icon displays next to the GL account number in the grid for the Enter Employee Time view. When you're working in the Enter Employee Time view and you enter a GL account to tie it to a task/activity, Connect will verify the GL account. The GL account verification works when the application is set up to use with a general ledger application. An invalid GL account is any account that is not saved as a GL account in the general ledger.
Checking the GL account will make sure the transaction is tied to a valid GL account, which will in turn make it easier to verify GL accounts and prevent transactions from being tied to GL accounts that don't exist.
The GL account verification is included in the 2023.02 release.

Enter Employee Time, Invalid GL account warning
Solution: To fix the warning,
-
replace the GL account with a valid GL account, or
-
verify the GL account number is entered correctly in the general ledger, or
-
add the GL account to the general ledger.
