The Electronic Meter Reading module is an add-on module that you can purchase to add the routines and tools for electronic meter reading to the Connect Utility Managment application.

Has your organization purchased the Electronic Meter Reading module? 

The Electronic Meter Reading module is an add-on module that is purchased to work with Connect Utility Management. If your organization has not purchased it, the link to Electronic Reading Formats will be displayed in gray text. To purchase the Electronic Meter Reading module, contact a client relationship manager at (800) 228-9851. 

Have you added user rights to access the Electronic Meter Reading module?

If you have purchased the Electronic Meter Reading module and the link to the Electronic Reading Formats displays in gray text, check if the user rights have been updated.

Note: You will need administrative rights to add user rights.

Setup/Modify User Rights

Have you added an electronic reading format?

If you're setting up the electronic reading module for the first time and you see a view where all of the boxes are grayed out, you will need to set up the electronic reading format. The electronic meter reading module will use it to import information from the electronic meter to Connect.

• If you're electronic meter is supported by Caselle, you can tackle this task on your own. Here's the list of supported electronic meters. 

• If you would like assistance or if you're using an electronic meter that is not supported, contact customer service at (800) 228-9851.
