Which_part_of_the_column_do_you_want_to_use_for_totals_and_page_breaks_

Which part of the column do you want to use for totals and page breaks?

Connect can print titles, print totals, and insert page breaks based on the entire field, a portion of the field, or a number of characters in a field value.

Entire Field

When you use the entire field, Connect will use the contents of the entire field to determine when it's time to begin a new section. For example, you can use the month to separate receipts in the report.

Digits

You can select a digit or group of digits in a value to break the data into reporting sections. This example shows you what  happens when the report order uses the first 3 digits as the comparison value. When the digits that occupy the first slots in the value change, the report prints the next set of three digits followed by all of the transactions that match those three digits.
