How do I delete an employee position's template?

Why can't I delete a timesheet template from an employee position?  You cannot remove tasks and activities from a timesheet template when related transactions exist.

 

Deleting tasks and activities from an employee position template

1. Open Connect Timekeeping Employees Modify Existing Employees.

2. Use the Employee box to enter an employee name or number. Press Enter.

3. Click to select the Positions tab.

4. Use the employee position list on the Positions tab to select a position.

5. Click to select the Templates tab.

6. Use the Task/Activity list to select a task to delete.

7. Click Remove the Selected Template .

The task and activity is deleted from the employee position template. .
