How do I edit employee time?

Change the time entry recorded on an employee's timesheet.

Editing an employee's time entry

1. Open Connect Timekeeping Employees Enter Employee Time.

The Time Entry Options appear.

 

2. Fill in the Time Entry Options. Click OK.

The Enter Employee Time form appears.

 

3. Click Edit (CTRL+E).

The Redisplay form appears.

 

4. Use the options on the form to find the transaction.

First, use Filter By to select the sorting option. Second, enter the employee's name or number.

The employee number that match the selection criteria will be displayed in the grid. If the grid is blank, you may need to edit the selection criteria.

 

5. Double-click the timesheet that you want to edit.

The timesheet displays in the Enter Employee Time form for single entry. The transaction grid shows all of the time entries that have been created for the employee.

 

6. Now, use the options on the grid to edit the transaction properties.

7. Click Save (CTRL+S).

The updated time entry is saved.
