How do I link a task code to a GL activity?

Add a GL activity code to a task code to report time entries for a GL activity. When you use the reporting tools to review resources allocated to a GL activity, the transactions created in Timekeeping will also be included.


Before you get started

  • Add the GL activity code to General Ledger.

 

Linking a task code to a GL activity

1. Open Connect Timekeeping Organization Task Codes.

2. Use the Task field to enter a task code. Press Enter

3. Find the field titled GL Activity.

4. Enter a GL Activity code.

5. Click Save (CTRL+S).

The GL activity code is assigned to the task code.
