Warning Message: Position Not Active for Work Date

Issue

The position selected is not active for the work date entered. 


 

Solution

You are entering time for a position that is inactive. An inactive position is a position with an end date that's recorded in the employee's record in the Payroll application. 

To fix this error

  •  select an active position, a position without an end date, or

  • update the end date on the position in the Payroll application. The end date is saved on the Positions tab in the Payroll Employees Modify Existing Employees. Choose this option if the wrong end date was recorded.
