How do I modify assembly activity?

You can use Modify Assembly Activity to edit a saved action for assembly activity. However, if you need to update an assembly's test results then use Modify Existing Assembly Testing Results instead.

WarningWarning! This routine modifies or deletes records. Making a backup is highly recommended. The backup database is the only way to restore records.

Step 1: Backing up database

Before proceeding, back up the current files. Always make a back up of the database BEFORE running routines that modify or delete transactions. (Send Databases)

Step 2: Modifying assembly activity

Edit the properties on an assembly activity.

Do this...

1. Open Connect Backflow Management > Organization > Modify Assembly Activity.

2. Enter a location number or service address in the Location field. You can Search this field.

3. Select an assembly from the Assembly ID list.

4. Click on the transaction in the grid to update the assembly activity.

5. All changes are saved automatically.

6. Click Save (CTRL+S).

The assembly activity is updated

Step 3: Modifying existing assembly test results

If you want to modify test results that have already been entered, then use the Modify Existing Assembly Test Results routine instead. Open Connect Backflow Management > Assemblies > Modify Existing Assembly Test Results.
