How do I enter other assembly activity?

Enter assembly activity for assemblies that have been removed or replaced. If the removal and installation happen at the same time, follow the instructions for replacing an assembly. 

 

Removing an assembly 

1. Open Connect Backflow Management > Assemblies > Enter Assembly Activity. 

2. Use the Customer box to enter a customer name or number, and then press Enter. 

3. Use the Action Code box to select Remove Assembly

4. Enter the following information. 

Assembly ID
Enter the assembly ID. This series of characters and numbers identifies the assembly. 

Removal date
Enter the removal date (MM/DD/YYYY). 

5. Click Save (CTRL+S). 

 

Replacing an assembly 

1. Open Connect Backflow Management > Assemblies > Enter Assembly Activity. 

2. Use the Customer box to enter a customer name or number, and then press Enter. 

3. Use the Action Code box to select Replace Assembly

4. Enter the following information. 

Old assembly ID
Enter the old assembly ID. This is the assembly that is being replaced. 

Removal date
Enter the removal date (MM/DD/YYYY) for the old assembly.  

Assembly ID
Enter the new assembly ID. This series of characters and numbers identifies the assembly. 

Assembly model
Enter the new assembly model. 

Install date
Enter the installation date (MM/DD/YYYY) for the new assembly. 

Testing month
Select the testing month for the new assembly. 

Notification cycle
Select the notification cycle to assign to the new assembly. The notification cycle determines when notifications will be sent to the customer. 

 

5. Click Save (CTRL+S).
