How do I enter assembly activity?

Create a new record for an assembly.

You would enter assembly activity when you need to record actions or events related to a backflow assembly. This can include inspections, tests, repairs, maintenance, replacements, notices, status updates, or other service-related activities. Recording assembly activity helps maintain a complete history for the device, supports compliance tracking, and provides staff with accurate documentation of all work and actions associated with the assembly.

Entering assembly activity

1. Open Connect Backflow Management > Assemblies > Enter Assembly Activity.

Use Enter Assembly Activity to record the assembly activity when it is installed.

2. What is the customer number?

Enter a customer number in the Customer field, you can also Search (F9) this field.

3. What is the action code?

Use the Action Code drop-down list to select the action code to install an assembly.

4. Fill in the form.

The Enter Assembly Activity form for the install assembly action code may include additional fields.

5. Click Save (CTRL+S).

The assembly is saved.
