How do I enter new assembly installations?

Add new assemblies installations to a service address.

You would enter a new assembly installation when a backflow prevention device has been installed at a property for the first time. Creating the installation record allows the system to track important details such as the assembly type, location, manufacturer, installation date, and testing requirements. This ensures the assembly is included in compliance monitoring, inspection scheduling, testing history, and customer records moving forward.

Entering new assembly installations

1. Open Connect Backflow Management > Assemblies > Enter Assembly Activity.

2. Use the Customer box to enter a customer name or number, and then press Enter.

3. Use the Action Code box to select Install Assembly

4. Enter the following information.

Assembly ID
Enter the assembly ID. This series of characters and numbers identifies the assembly.

Assembly model
Enter the assembly model.

Install date
Enter the installation date (MM/DD/YYYY).

Testing month
Select the testing month for the new assembly.

Notification cycle
Select the notification cycle to assign to the new assembly. The notification cycle determines when notifications will be sent to the customer.

5. Click Save (CTRL+S).
