How do I assign missing unformatted locations?

Connect uses the formatted location number to look up plots, identify plots, and organize reports that report by location. An unformatted location may show the location in the wrong place on reports and in controls that display by location. Formatting location numbers will display, sort, and filter the location as expected.

Example: The location format for City ABC is **-***-**-*. During the week, a plot location is entered as 32240022. Because 32240022 doesn't match the location format, the location is unformatted. City ABC runs Recalculate to apply the location format to 32240022 and then replace 32240022 with 32-240-02-2.

Current unformatted location: 32240022

Location format:  **-***-**-*

New formatted location:       32-240-02-2

Assigning mask to unformatted locations

1. Open Connect Cemetery Management > Organization > Recalculate.

2. Click to select Assign Missing Unformatted Locations.

3. Click GO (CTRL+G).
