How do I print the authoritative transmittal?

Print the authoritative transmittal Form 1094-C. An ALE Member must file one or more Forms 1094-C, including a Form 1094-C designated as the Authoritative Transmittal (irs.gov).

Important! Do not file a return correcting information on a Form 1094-C that is not an authoritative transmittal.

 

Printing the authoritative transmittal

1. Open Connect Payroll > Government Reporting > 1094/1095s.

2. Use the Title menu to select 1094/1095s - 1095-C and 1094-C [Caselle Master].

3. Select the Tax Year.

4. Click to select the checkbox titled Mark This as the Authoritative Transmittal.

5. Load Form 1094-C in the printer.

6. Click Print (CTRL+P).

The authoritative transmittal Form 1094-C prints.
