How do I stop leave from accruing on a terminated employee?

Do I have to select stop leave time accrual when an employee is terminated or will putting in the termination date take care of that?

 

Explanation

Putting in the termination date stops pay codes from calculating and leave time accruing. Connect links the employee termination date to the employee pay codes. When the a termination date is recorded in the employee record, the employee pay codes, including leave pay codes, will stop calculating.
