I want to see what the calculated leave time will be before I create leave transactions. How do I do that?

Issue

I made some changes to the leave rates and I want to make sure they calculate the correct leave amount. I don't want the calculated leave using the new leave rates to be saved to the employee record. Is there a way to do this?

 

Solution

To preview calculated leave time, change the Print option to Report Only to calculate leave time so you can review a report of the calculated leave time amounts before you update employee leave amounts.  Using the Report Only option will not save the calculated leave to the employee record. [More]
