Why can't I link time entries to a job?
Payroll can update time entries for a job in Project Accounting if Project Accounting is installed and the Project Accounting interface is set up.
Before you get started
Setting up the Project Accounting interface
1. Open Connect Payroll > Organization > Organization.
2. Click to select the Interfaces tab.
3. Click to select the Project Accounting subtab.
4. Use the Interface menu to select the version of Project Accounting.
5. Click to select the general ledger account Payroll will use to post transactions to Project Accounting.
6. Click Save (CTRL+S).
The Project Accounting interface is set up. Payroll will make available all of the options and tools for updating transactions to Project Accounting.
