Timekeeping can create time entries for activities that are linked to jobs in Project Accounting. Connect can update the time entries for activities in Project Accounting so you can track time worked on a job with the job's other expenses.
Project Accounting is installed.
Jobs are set up.
Job status is active and uncompleted.
1. Open Connect Timekeeping Organization Activity Codes.
2. Use the Look Up bar to enter the activity code.
3. Use the Job Number field to enter the job number that you want to link to the activity code.
This field is only available when Timekeeping is using the Project Accounting interface.
Connect uses the job properties in Project Accounting to display the job description, GL account, begin date, end date, and departments on the Activity Codes form.
4. Click Save (CTRL+S).
The activity is linked to a job.
