How do I link a task to a job?

Timekeeping can create time entries for tasks that are linked to jobs in Project Accounting. Connect can update the time entries for tasks in Project Accounting so you can track time worked on a job with the job's other expenses.

 

Before you get started

  • Project Accounting is installed.

  • Jobs are set up.

  • Job status is active and uncompleted.

 

Linking a task to a job

1. Open Connect Timekeeping Organization Task Codes.

2. Use the Look Up bar to enter the task code.

3. Use the Job Number field to enter the job number that you want to link to the task code.

This field is only available when Timekeeping is using the Project Accounting interface.

4. Click Save (CTRL+S).

The task is linked to a job.
