Set the property status to active or inactive. A property is active when an owner takes ownership of the property and changes to inactive when the owner no longer owns the property. You can set the property status on each property in the owner's record.
An active property will allow you to calculate billings and fees, enter payments and payment adjustments, and so on.
An inactive status will exclude the property from routines that calculate or create transactions.
The property active date and inactive date fields are included in the 2024.05 release.
