How do I change a license status?

Caselle uses the license status to define when to print license billings and tax returns and how to report business licenses on the License Status report. Caselle will only generate license billings and tax returns when the license status is active. Caselle will not generate license billings and tax returns when the license status is closed, denied, exempt, inactive, pending, or suspended.

When you change the license status, Caselle will prompt you to update the tax status. Usually, the tax status is updated at the same time as the license status but it's not required.
