Can I override group rights for a user?

You can change the user rights to override the group rights that are assigned to the user. The user will have access to the application, routine, or report even though the group does not. You can also perform the reverse by denying a user access to an application, routine, or report even though the group has access.

Granting user access

1. Open Connect System Management > Security > Setup/Modify User Rights.

2. Use the Look Up bar to enter a user name.

3. Use the Rights table to locate the application, routine, or report you want the user to access.

4. Click to select the checkbox titled Explicitly Allow.
