How do I assign user rights to install program updates?

You can assign user rights to give the user limited administrative rights to download and install program updates.  

 

Assigning user rights to install program updates

1. Open Connect System Management > Security > Setup/Modify User Rights.

2. In the Rights window, click the Connect tab.

3. Scroll down and then click [+] to expand the System Management section.

4. Click [+] to expand the Installation section.

5. Click [+] to expand the Tasks section.

6. On the row titled Install Program Updates, click to select the Explicitly Allow checkbox.

7. Click Save (CTRL+S).

The user has limited administrative rights to download and install program updates.
