How do I disable Multi-factor Authentication (MFA)? (2025.11)

In some instances, an organization may want to disable MFA for some users. For example,

  • Users who do not have access to MFA tools (such as a phone, token, or reliable internet connection to complete MFA).

  • Users who are only using an application, such as Caselle TimeClock.

Disabling MFA allows users to login without entering two or more different types of evidence ("factors") to prove their identity before gaining access to Connect applications.

Disabling MFA for non-Caselle Connect users

1. Open Connect System Management > Security > Setup/Modify User Rights.

2. Look up a Connect user.

If the user has not been added to Setup/Modify User Rights, click New to add a new user.

3. Click to select Disable MFA.

4. Click Save (CTRL+S).
