How do I require user to change their password at log in?

Sometimes you may need to reset a user password when a user forgets a password. You also have the option of asking the user to change their password the first time they log in. When the user logs in, they will be prompted to enter a new password. The user enters their current password and then they can enter and confirm a new password.

Requiring a user to change their password when they log in

1. Open Connect System Management > Security > Setup/Modify User Rights.  

2. Click to select the Require User to Change Their Password At Login checkbox. 

3. Click Save (CTRL+S). 

The user will be prompted to enter a new password and the checkbox to require the user to change their password is reset.
