I updated my password but the new password is not valid. How do I fix it?

Some organizations may set up Connect to require a new password after a predefined period passes. When this option is set up, you will see a dialog box with the request to enter a new password. Your organization may allow you to reuse an old password as the new password. But you may need to enter a password that you haven't used before as the new password.

In some instances, you may enter a new password and then find you can't use the new password to log in. The error message in the log in window says you're using an invalid password. You will need a user with administrative rights to change your password and then share the new password with you.

Log in window

After you log in and the Connect main menu launches, you can use File > Change Password to enter a new password instead of using the password that you received from the application administrator.
